Liquid Lobster is back and more dangerous than ever with the addition of Mike Wathen, so we'll be introducing the new Lobster 3.0 to the world on Saturday, June 12th with a party at the Undisclosed Basement Studios. We'll be joined by our good friends The Hot Noodles who'll open the show at about 6pm Eastern. The Lobster will claw their way to the stage around 8:30pm Eastern, and there'll be a late-night All Star Jam with folks from both bands getting it on. The party is a very private affair, but we'll be streaming the music out live all night long, and you'll be able to listen from right here on the Liquid Lobster website!

OUR NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARDS!

We're delighted to introduce you to our new keyboardist - Mike Wathen. Aside from being the third "Mike" in a four-piece band, Mike brings his nimble fingers, improvisational ethos and a full arsenal of organic, jammy keyboard tones to the Lobster, further cementing its reputation as the premiere DC jam band. Mike comes to us from the Nanjemoy Creek Boys, and their loss is very much the Lobster's gain! We've spent the last several months working hard on bringing Mike up to speed on what we do and how we do it, and fortunately Mike's a very fast learner indeed. We're completely psyched to be jamming with Mike and can't wait to turn Lobster 3.0 loose on June 12th.
